Research

Several ESL staff have a research background and all are encouraged to develop their interests in this area, particularly where it extends the experience they can then offer to our clients.

A number of our research projects are carried out in the Lincolnshire Limewoods National Nature Reserve, which is owned and managed by the Forestry Commission, and to which ESL donates a certain amount of paid staff time and expertise annually. Most also include a balance of individual staff members own time, on a voluntary basis, and these staff are encouraged to write up the results of their research for submission to peer-referred journals.
